Marina Losada was born in Argentine in 1975
Lives and works in La Plata city, Argentine

Since childhood she has been interested in photography, learning from her grandfather. She continued her technical and aesthetic education in photography in her own country with such highly regarded teachers as Juan Travnik, Alfredo Srur, Liliana Parra, Eduardo Medici, Andrea Chame, among others.

Her works include photo essays, installations and interventions. She exhibits her work regularly and works with media and institutions. She is interested in exploring spaces, moving between urban and natural landscapes, acquiring images while remaining permeable to the subtleties which become photographic findings. Thus she speaks about humans, their passions and their tacit presence in the landscape. This research also becomes internal and intimate, reflecting her personal history. Her photographs, displays and videos are part of a personal tribute to the absent, disappeared and exiled and are also an invitation to ask ourselves about Argentina’s recent history.

She is currently working on personal projects in her country and abroad, alternating between exploring the contextual and inner landscapes.
